Yes I am totally kidding but this little machine is gorgeous and I definitely Want it, but do not need it. I will continue shooting with what I have because I already have too much. I can’t tell you how many times, I have purchased something camera related, truly believing that it will make me a better photographer. The thought process before purchase goes something like this… This new gear will help me:
- See better
- React quicker
- Expose more accurately
- Give me better colors
- Make me think less
- Deliver better images
- The list continues….
In all honesty there have been a few times where it does make things a tad easier, but overall…. It comes back to my shoulders. It’s up to me, to make choices, see better, expose better, react better, deliver better images…. I have the ability to do or not to do and no peace of gear is going to make that better.
The 7 mouths I feed are WAY more important than the gadgets I want. I owe it to them to be wise and improve my own abilities with what I have.
So I am writing this entry as a reminder to not spend $$ when I don’t have to. The 7 mouths I feed are WAY more important than the gadgets I want. I owe it to them to be wise and improve my own abilities with what I have.
