Malina and Tim were wed in Heinz Chapel and moved the celebration to the University Club, which provides an excellent view of the University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning, from the balcony. We had perfect weather throughout the day, which only complimented their closest family and friends. There were so many memorable moments that Alisa and I were able to document. Malina and Tim are a perfect fit and we could not be happier for them.

Erin and Jon were married on July 10 in front of all of their family and friends. The matrimony held at Sacred Heart Parish (Shadyside), was exquisite to say the least. The ambience of the church and tone of the ceremony lent perfectly to the emotion of the day.

I am so happy for Erin and Jon to have had their day to commit to one another. The two of them have been traveling diligently between Pittsburgh and Washington DC to be with each other and plan the wedding. Their planning aligned perfectly with the results of the day. Living, Loving and Laughter overcame the day.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the PPG Aquarium at the Pittsburgh Zoo. This was a unique venue for holding such a celebration. Being surrounded by Stingrays, Sharks and Happy People created a very intriguing environment! Needless to say the day was exactly what they had dreamed and we were fortunate enough to have documented it.

My assistant and very talented second shooter, Alisa, complemented the coverage of the day. You will continue to see a lot more from Alisa moving forward. Bridget and I are very happy to have her on board!

Jackie and Jason are a perfect match for each other. The couple chose to see each other before the ceremony, an especially touching moment, where Jason surprised Jackie with a set of diamond earrings. The connection and energy that the two of them have between each other is extremely contagious.

Jason and Jackie also have a photography business in Jupiter, Florida. It is always a humbling experience when another photographer chooses to have you document their wedding. I am very grateful to them for giving me the privilege.

It is always an honor to document a wedding in the same building where my family worships and fellowships every week .

Erika and Brian planned an early afternoon wedding with the celebration to follow at Quicksilver Country Club. They could not have asked for a better day! I am so happy for the two of them and am excited to share all of their images with them. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

To pick up where we left off, I am happy to share some of my favorite images from Erin and Scott’s June wedding. I love this couple! I have had the pleasure of photographing two of Erin’s friends weddings as well (Brooke and Shannon). All three weddings have had some of the best people and families there are. It was so great to see everyone together again.

Last fall, I photographed their engagement session in Central Park. Their condo overlooks Central Park (how is that for a view!). Even though they have wonderful lives in New York, they came back to their roots in Pittsburgh to get married. The ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon and they held their reception at the Crown Plaza Pittsburgh South.

I thoroughly enjoyed being there amongst all of these lovely people. Thank you to Alisa for helping me out on this one!
