I have really been enjoying shooting so many Seniors from Peters Township High school. This young lady is new to the area and such a sweet soul. We had an amazing backdrop to use, very close to her home for this session. The lighting was excellent and the timing of the day could not have been better. We used some alternative lighting for a few shots as well. I love experimenting, but through and through I think overall I enjoy using available light most. Using off camera lighting definitely gives you more options, but there is something about God-given available light that is just perfect.
If you are a photographer, I encourage you to learn to use both available light and off camera lighting. It will make you a better shooter and you will develop your style to what makes your heart say “YES!”.
