Children's Museum

We all went to the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh yesterday and had a blast. We did not get to see it all, so we will definately be going back. It is such a wonderful place for children! All 3 of the boys had fun in their own ways. Between the workshop, crooked room with slide, the water room and woodworking area, each of them had something to enjoy. We wanted to hit the art studio, but it closed early. It worked out well though, because by the time we left the kids were ready to eat (and nap of course!).

Also, before we left for the museum, I had Damon pose for a few shots, since I have so few images of him where I can actually get him to cooperate with the camera. :-) Here are a few pics from our day:

Who are we?

I was looking around our website and realized that we have lots of images to show, but no images of us! So... Wonder no more.... Here we are!

We have been having so much fun together, shooting images of other people, that we forgot to take some pictures of ourselves. Of course our walls at home are covered with pictures of everyone, but me. My family always says.. 'We don't have any pictures of you.' Now, with Bridget shooting, we should get some. Kara and David Engagement Session

We are so happy to be shooting Kara and David's July 29th wedding this year. They opted to have an engagement session done before hand. We love e-sessions because it really helps our clients become comfortable with us and our style of shooting. It is a great way for all of us to get to know each other. This way, it is not awkward for anyone, when we show up to shoot your wedding day. We can show up like an old family friend instead of just the 'hired help'. These shoots are lots of fun.

E-Sessions are now included in our new base package. So if you are planning on having us shoot your wedding, please take advantage of the e-session. We look forward to it!

Weddings by Heather

Hello Everyone! It has been a while since I posted. That means we have been pretty busy... After our family vacation, we had to dig back in to work and I am now just coming up for air.

This past weekend I assisted my friend Heather Lahtinen of Weddings by Heather. Heather is an amazing photographer and has more energy than anyone I know! We had a great time shooting together and I look forward to doing it again in the future. The wedding was held at the Carnegie Museum on the Grand Staircase. It was very unique. The reception was in another room of the museum that had many beautiful architectural structures and statures. Here are a few images that I captured. To see more images check out Heather's blog.

Teen Bible Study

I recently captured some images of a Teen Bible Study for our Church Newsletter. This is a group of about 8 girls, age 13, that meet weekly. One of the things that these girls do is pass around a candle and pray for whatever their hearts tell them to. It was very refreshing to see some young people behaving in such a positive manner. I really enjoyed spending the time with this group. Here are a few images from their meeting.
