This may sound cliche but I will say it anyway – My camera is an extension of my soul that enables me to ‘create’ and provide the work I am called to do
For the past ten years I have looked forward to the weekly challenges of observing and documenting weddings. I strive to capture unique images especially for you, based on the relationships and moments that unfold in front of my camera. Let me get ‘deep’ with you for a moment (ha!) – This may sound cliche, but I will say it anyway – My camera is an extension of my soul that enables me to ‘create’ and provide the work I am called to do. I welcome all weddings and have photographed numerous religious, denominational, non-religious ceremonies and events across the United States and Mexico. The ‘work’ of photography never gets old or dull for me because it does not feel like a job! This is how I know I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing. Your wedding is new, and different from every other wedding.
At heart, I am family man and have been blessed with the most amazing children. Each one of them provides me with so much inspiration. I consider myself to be one of the few lucky men in this world that gets to say ‘I love what I do for a living.’ It is a wonderful way to provide for my family. Other things that make me tick: art, movies, technology and music. If you know me, I especially love to sing! I just can’t help myself. It doesn’t matter if I know the lyrics or not, if it moves me, I am singing! I am a geek of sorts and wouldn’t have it any other way. Mixing art and technolgy is the perfect blend for me. I have a heart to help people which is another reason why photography is such a good fit for me. I love what photography gives to people.
I enjoy traveling and have traveled to Africa twice (once to Tanzania and once to Kenya) for different mission trips where I was able to photograph my experience. These trips changed my life in such a positive way and I look forward to going back someday.
